Is this a Bluetooth TPMS?
Yes. Safety Sam connects to your phone via Bluetooth so you can monitor tyre pressure and temperature through the app.

Does the app need to stay open?
No. The app can work with your phone locked. If there is an issue, a voice alert can play through your car entertainment system and tell you what the issue is and which tyre needs attention.

Is Safety Sam suitable for caravans and trailers?
Yes. You can set your caravan or trailer up as a separate vehicle in the app and monitor it while towing.

Do I need another screen?
No. Your phone is the display, so there is no extra screen cluttering your dash.

Is it difficult to install?
No. Fit the sensors, download the app, use 1-click setup and set your pressure ranges. Setup usually takes only a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Safety Sam is universal. If your vehicle, caravan, or trailer uses a standard tyre valve (which 99% do), these sensors will screw straight on. It works perfectly on everything from a Toyota HiAce to a triple-axle caravan.

No mechanic required. If you can screw a cap onto a bottle of water, you can install Safety Sam. It takes about 5 minutes: screw on the sensors, download the app, and sync via Bluetooth. You’ll be road-ready before your coffee gets cold.

We’ve included custom anti-theft locking nuts and a specialized spanner in every kit. Once locked into place, the sensors cannot be unscrewed by hand, giving you peace of mind when parked at the shops or the campsite.

No. Once synced, the app can run in the background. If a tyre drops below your set pressure or hits a high temperature, the app will send a loud audible alert through your phone (and your car's speakers if you're connected to Bluetooth/CarPlay).

The sensors use standard CR1632 batteries (available at any supermarket) which typically last 12–24 months. The app will notify you when a battery is getting low so you’re never left guessing.

There are many TPMS systems on the market which can be quite confusing to someone who is new to this. Safety Sam was easy to install and the system works great. It has an excellent Bluetooth range which is important to us as we have them on our caravan. A small price to pay for a big piece of mind

The information says for cars & caravans, however I'm using these with my caravan. It would be good if the app had a picture of a caravan as a selectable option. Other than this,it works fine.

I wish you could do just two for a trailor with them asi have two trailers and a caravan, and it would be nice if you could name the sensors so you now what sensors are for what
