Yes. Safety Sam is universal. If your vehicle, caravan, or trailer uses a standard tyre valve (which 99% do), these sensors will screw straight on. It works perfectly on everything from a Toyota HiAce to a triple-axle caravan.
How hard is the setup? Do I need a mechanic?
No mechanic required. If you can screw a cap onto a bottle of water, you can install Safety Sam. It takes about 5 minutes: screw on the sensors, download the app, and sync via Bluetooth. You’ll be road-ready before your coffee gets cold.
Can someone just steal the sensors?
We’ve included custom anti-theft locking nuts and a specialized spanner in every kit. Once locked into place, the sensors cannot be unscrewed by hand, giving you peace of mind when parked at the shops or the campsite.
Does the app need to stay open while I drive?
No. Once synced, the app can run in the background. If a tyre drops below your set pressure or hits a high temperature, the app will send a loud audible alert through your phone (and your car's speakers if you're connected to Bluetooth/CarPlay).
How long do the batteries last?
The sensors use standard CR1632 batteries (available at any supermarket) which typically last 12–24 months. The app will notify you when a battery is getting low so you’re never left guessing.
